The Balvenie PortWood 21 YO is the most award-winning variety in the Balvenie Prestige line.
To create the Balvenie PortWood, aged 21 years, rare varieties of The Balvenie are additionally aged in high quality port casks. Next, the master distiller systematically checks the contents of the casks to make sure that the oak has added sufficient aromatic and flavour components to the whisky, improving and developing the original character of the single malt.
This elegant whisky is full of the flavour of fruit, raisins, and nuts with a sophisticated and velvety flavour with hints of fruits, honey and spice.
