The first single malt Scotch whisky finished in Somerset Pomona barrels. A classic Glenfiddich, with notes of fresh pear and ripe fruit from the orchard, which is accented in the final period by ageing in Somerset Pomona barrels.
Aroma: the classic, delicate aroma of Glenfiddich dominated by fruity fresh pear, balanced with gentle notes of oak.
Flavour: initially dominated by fresh orchard fruit which its softened by sweet and creamy toffee combined with caramelised apple and dark spice.
Finish: long-lasting sweetness and slightly peppery.
