Grand Reserva is an ideal, sophisticated whisky which is aged for 21 years in American and European oak barrels and then finished for 6 months in Caribbean rum casks. This exceptional finish gives Glenfiddich Gran Reserva rich, sultry accents of caramel, fig, burnt sugar, and ripe banana.
The composition is completed by the flavour of oak with a subtle hint of shortbread. It is perfect for those who appreciate harmony and delicacy yet also distinctiveness in whisky.
Initially delicate, after a moment it releases its complexity. Peppery and with notes of vanilla, oak, lime, ginger and spice.
