In 2003, Glenfiddich produced its first batch of smoky whisky. Ageing in rum casks balances its dry notes and adds a pleasant sweetness. Peat with hints of oak and toffee, a distinct not of green fruit, the sweetness of roasted apple and the delicate aroma of peat smoke in the background.
