An outstanding liqueur with a golden-brown colour made from carefully selected apricot stones. Originally from Italy, Amaretto is known for its almond aroma and nutty caramel flavour. Early versions of Amaretto were made with apricot stones and almonds. Bols Amaretto is an essential ingredient in classic cocktails such as the Amaretto Sour or the Godfather, but also features in modern cocktails such as the Alabama Slammer.
