The Maspex Group has finalised its acquisition of CEDC International sp z o.o. along with its subsidiary B2B Wine & Spirits sp z oo.
The result has been the introduction to the Polish group’s offer of the market-leading vodka brands Żubrówka (a legendary Polish vodka brand with nearly 500 years of tradition, number 3 by volume in the global vodka market, available in 86 markets), Soplica (number 8 worldwide), Absolwent, and Bols. Maspex has also become the distributor of wine brands such as Carlo Rossi, Barefoot, and Gancia as well as the flavoured spirits Grant’s, Glenfiddich and Tullamore D.E.W., Metaxa, Jägermeister, Cointreau, Campari, Aperol, and Rémy Martin.
Production of the Group’s alcoholic beverages will take place at production plants in Oborniki and Białystok. With the CEDC company as its foundation, Maspex is building another strong segment in its operations.
A new business unit will be developed in the Group’s organisational structures, the Business Unit Spirits, which will retain its business independence and concentrate in one department all functions necessary to run its arm of the business, including commercial, marketing, and production aspects. The construction of this new business will be based on the competences of the company’s employees, modern production facilities, and outstanding brands.
